Project Summary
The Annie E. Casey Foundation (AECF) owned a single family house zoned RG-3 (multifamily) that was adjacent to a vacant lot also zoned RG-3. AECF engaged CPRD to manage the acquisition of the adjacent property for assemblage, urban design, community engagement, development feasibility, and zoning variance process. The resulting assemblage, redesign, and entitlement approval increased the density from 2 single family lots into a 6-unit townhome site. CPRD then managed the financial and deal structuring of a joint venture partnership with a nonprofit development partner to develop the homes as affordable housing.
